Describe the expected behavior

Intelligent data cache is one of the key features required to enhance the
performance of queries, and reduce the network bottlenecks. The current datacache is specific to the ORC data format and Hive connector, but the community is looking to enhance this by making it more generic across connectors. To a of focus are, implementing a tiered storage architecture where data can be read from memory, fast local storage, or from the data source.
